Mission Statement

Shambhala Services was conceived to communicate, support and encourage soulful choices in all areas of humanity's daily lives, encouraging right relationship to housing, transportation, food, education, meditation: a way to live lightly, harmlessly and support our planet earth and our future lives.

Goals of the Organization

The Overall goal is to share technologies and new forms of energetic meditation and self healing tools. Along with expanding our funding for the various phases of our Western Monastic Community.

Although to date most of our projects have been focused outside of the U.S, currently we are actively looking to purchase a property in the United States. We are working on the architectural design of the first phase of a Western Monastic Teaching Center which would include a Monk and Nun's Residence, Gym and Workshop in Northern California. This property would become the Church's new base and the first prototype of an alternative Monastic Community using solar pyramid domes and state of the art electric and electric plug-in hybrid transportation in a healthy community centered around a new way of being of service to the planet, Soulful Living

History of the Organization

The Church of Shambhala Vajradhara Maitreya Sangha is an authorized tax exempt non-profit organization based in California. The Church was incorporated as a non-profit organization in 1996, and in 2000 was granted tax exempt status as a 501(c)(3) organization. EIN #680396112
